Chicken Pox by Mail?

I'm not going to pretend like I haven't over-analyzed and over-researched vaccines. I'm not going to pretend that I haven't cornered my doctor for a much longer period of time than she spends with her other patients about MMR, chicken pox, polio, etc. We had discussions, yes. Which are the most important? Which have the least side effects? Which is a dead vaccine? I read books: Dr Sears' The Vaccine Book the most helpful.

My son in fact, did NOT get the chicken pox vaccine, and when he was four he got an actual case of chicken pox from a few kids in his nursery school who HAD BEEN vaccinated. My doctor believed -- and still does -- in chicken pox parties. She felt the actual disease is more efficient than the actual vaccine and though she made sure Jake got polio, pertussis, MMR -- even during the height of the autism-MMR connection scare, which is no longer a scare at all. Chicken pox parties. Yes. She recommended it.

When Jake got chicken pox it was thankfully mild. She drew blood. He's got titers which means there was proof of the chicken pox in his system. That's all a school needs. Titers, yes, ma'am. We got it the good-old-fashioned way. And I was proud! Isn't that silly? I really was. Chicken pox. Who didn't get chicken pox in the 70s and 80s? I did! It was awful. And then it was over.

Now folks are joining closed Facebook groups to specifically send each other infected lollipops, saliva and/or articles of clothing to hold their own chicken pox parties. I'm so outraged by hearing this that I literally want to bang my head against the wall. Slate columnist KJ Dell'Antonia wrote this angry rant that puts it well:

Let's try this sentence on for size: "I just gave my kid a pre-licked lollipop sent to me by a stranger I met on the Internet!" I suspect the "outing" of this practice by the media will also mark its public end. I'm sure we're talking about a very, very small number of people here. But if chicken-pox-by-mail sounds like a good idea to you, then I'm going to have to abandon the polite conversation and bring out the verbal two-by-fours.

I am all for chicken pox parties. Elke hasn't gotten her chicken pox vaccine yet. But the stupidity of passing infected chicken pox lollipops through the mail is terrifying. In fact, it makes me propelled to vaccinate her, like, immediately. Do these parents remember the anthrax scare of 2001? When we thought the world was ending and one of the news anchors had traces of anthrax on his desk. That the Hamilton, New Jersey Post Office was shut down because of traces of ANTHRAX. Now a bunch of die-hards think it's a good idea to send a virus through the mail? This is not only illegal, but highly dangerous.

Dr. Wilbert Mason had this to say to the LA Times:

For starters, he said, sending chicken pox through the mail probably won't work, because the varicella virus needs cells to live in, and there probably would be very few cells in spit or on a used lollipop. "It's unlikely the virus would survive long enough," he said.

But more resilient types of infections -- dangerous ones -- could make it, including hepatitis B, group A strep, and staph germs.

There is a certain point as parents that you have to take a step back and weigh the risks. I'm not a fan of over-vaccinating. I make sure I space my vaccines out. I linger a bit when it comes to the biggies. But there's a certain point you have to say -- okay, I'm not going to take candy from a stranger and put my child at an even greater risk than she would have been in the first place.

This week: Chicken pox vaccine. December 1: Flu shot.

What is sleeplessness?
Sleeplessness is a disorder where sufferers find it hard to either fall asleep, or to stay asleep throughout the night. It is a common complaint and it’s thought that around a third of the population suffer with bouts of sleeplessness at times. Sleeplessness can last from two or three days to two or three years for chronic sufferers. More commonly though, sleeplessness usually lasts from between one and three weeks.

Human beings need sleep to rejuvenate their mind and body, so a disturbance in sleep for just one night can take its toll on our overall wellbeing. However, if suffered with over a period of time sleeplessness can lead to low mood and other mental health issues.

Causes of sleeplessness
 Low mood
 Mild anxiety
 Grief
 Relationship problems
 Hectic lifestyle
 External factors (noise, light, snoring, partner moving around)
 Jet lag
 Arthritis, headaches and back pain
 Menopause (hot flush)
 Gastrointestinal disorders
 Excess alcohol or caffeine consumption
 Side effects of some medication
 Sleep disorders

Symptoms of sleeplessness
 Tossing and turning for hours before falling sleep.
 Waking up several times in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep easily.
 Waking up extremely early in the morning (this is the least common type of sleeplessness)
 Difficulty concentrating during the day, forgetfulness and sloppiness at work.
 Feeling tired and not refreshed by sleep.
 Feeling irritable and burnt out.

Other ways to help
Cut down on the caffeine, alcohol and sugar you consume in your diet. If you really feel you need caffeine to get you through the day, avoid consuming it after 4:00 pm.

Eat foods that help with a natural night’s sleep, such as legumes and seeds, dark leafy green vegetables, wheat bran, almonds, cashews and whole grains. These foods are rich in sleep inducing tryptophan and/or magnesium.

Exercise frequently. Humans were born to move and not expending enough energy during the day can lead to a restless night. However, avoid exercising late at night as this can raise your adrenaline levels and worsen sleeplessness.

Sleep with the lights out in complete darkness. Studies show sleeping with lights may lead to depression and weight gain.

The particularity of homeopathy can be ascertained by the fact that there are various remedies for insomnia depending on different symptoms and the underlying cause:

  • Belladonna Sleeplessness due to congestion, restless sleep, spasmodic motions, frightful images upon closing the eyes and violent throbbing or pulsating in the brain. Belladonna is the acute of Calcarea carb, when children may have fears of monsters at night.
  • Chamomilla Commonly for children who cannot sleep due to teething pain or those who have sleep tormented by vivid, fanciful and anxious dreams.
  • Aconite Conditions where sleep eludes due to shock, grief, anxiety or restlessness after trauma.
  • Arsenicum Album Suited to conditions where the individual is sleepy during the day, but unable to sleep in the night, with desire for sips of water, restlessness and need for company.
  • Passiflora Incarnata in Tincture This flower, shown above, has a quieting effect on the nervous system. This remedy can be used when the patient lies awake till dawn and feels extremely exhausted. Helpful in a number of ages and groups like screaming irritable kids, alcoholics and old age persons. Passiflora chemicals provide sedative and tranquilizing effects. Ask your physician how to administer.
  • Coffea Cruda  Suitable for persons who are sleepless due to overactive nervous system and excessive joy, a rush of ideas and no sign of fatigue. They feel over excited and restless. They have unusual mental hyperactivity, and exhibit acute senses as occurs after having a cup of coffee. Sleep may be impossible for many days, despite feeling tired, due to a frustrating inability to switch off the mind. When person's who benefit from coffea cruda in homeopathic form do finally sleep, they wake up by the slightest noise. Another reason for insomnia in these patients may be an upcoming exam, some shocking or good news, or stress. Compare to other homeopathic remedies for anticipation, anxiety, shock, news or other stressors.
  • Gelsemium When mental stress, more than physical activity prevents sleep, these persons feel apprehensive about work. Students that feel nervous due to upcoming exams or a business person anxious before giving a presentation end up sleepless due to apprehension. Gelsemium will help them overcome their anticipation and help them sleep, plus do better on the exam or at their presentation. Don't forget this remedy before dental appointments.
  • Arnica Useful for physical overwork and when the patient says the bed feels too hard and uncomfortable. This remedy is also useful for jet lag.
  • Cocculus When people care for sick loved ones, stays up nursing others, has many worries and concerns about health this may result in sleeplessness when they wake every hour looking at the clock. Cocculus may help also when a person undergoes a time shift in their work schedule.
  • Lachesis Most notable for females approaching menopause, with concomitant of hot flushes at night, aggravation of complaints on sleeping and from heat, sensation of suffocation. Lachesis helps adjust hormonal swings and give a calm sleep.
  • Nux Vomica For insomnia due to withdrawal effects of alcohol, coffee, sedatives, over eating, and over study. These workaholics wake up early in the morning and cannot sleep again. Lack of sleep makes this person angry and irritable while feeling sleepy in the early part of evening.
  • Jalapa Tincture A remedy often used for children who are sleepless due to flatulent colic at night.
  • Chamomilla Another children's remedy for those who are sleepless due to teething, colic, anger and refuse to sleep calmly. They scream even when kindly spoken too. They are constantly moaning and have capriciousness. They are the most irritable kids. Chamomila will help them relax, and can also be useful for adults with extreme pains.
  • Avena sativa Tincture Another homeopathic sedative for alcoholics and most useful to help nourish nursing mothers.

Radiation & Chemotherapy Side Effects

Radiation & Chemotherapy Side Effects

Classical homeopathic treatment addresses the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment naturally and effectively. Our remedies can alleviate chemotherapy and radiation side effects such as nausea, vomiting, fatigue, loss of appetite, depression, and skin complaints.

Homeopathy does not antidote the positive effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Studies Prove Homeopathy Alleviates Chemotherapy and Radiation Side Effects

Matthias Rostock,  Johannes Naumann, Corina Guethlin, Lars Guenther, Hans H Bartsch and Harald Walach. “Classical homeopathy in the treatment of cancer patients – a prospective observational study of two independent cohorts” BMC Cancer 2011, 11:19

We conducted a prospective observational study with cancer patients in two differently treated cohorts: one cohort with patients under complementary homeopathic treatment (HG; n=259), and one cohort with conventionally treated cancer patients (CG; n=380). For a direct comparison, matched pairs with patients of the same tumour entity and comparable prognosis were to be formed. Main outcome parameter: change of quality of life (FACT-G, FACIT-Sp) after 3 months. Secondary outcome parameters: change of quality of life (FACT-G, FACIT-Sp) after a year, as well as impairment by fatigue (MFI) and by anxiety and depression (HADS). In our prospective study, we observed an improvement of quality of life as well as a tendency of fatigue symptoms to decrease in cancer patients under complementary homeopathic treatment.

Cochrane Reviews investigate the effects of interventions for prevention, or treatment of illness, or rehabilitation from illness, in a healthcare setting. Most Cochrane Reviews are based on overviews of randomized controlled trials and other forms of evidence that are deemed to be appropriate. This review was conducted to determine what, if any, evidence (in the opinion of the Cochrane reviewers) exists for the treatment by homeopathy of the effects of conventional cancer therapies. A search through numerous databases revealed 8 controlled trials involved in this area of study, 7 of which were placebo controlled and 1 of which was against an active treatment. In total, the trials covered the outcomes of 664 people who’d been variously suffering from the adverse effects of radiotherapy, chemotherapy or breast cancer treatment. Of the 8, 2 trials exhibited beneficial effects from homeopathy. One of these involved a comparison between the effects of a topical corticosteroid and a homeopathic mother tincture of calendula for the prevention of dermatitis from radiotherapy where the calendula proved to be superior to the drug. The other involved the successful use of a homeopathic complex for stomatatitis caused by chemotherapy.

82 patients receiving radiotherapy were randomly assigned to receive placebo, Cobaltum 30C or Causticum 30C as a means of assessing the effects of these against dermatological reactions to the radiotherapy. The homeopathic medicines provided a significant reduction in the degree of radiation reactions when compared to placebo

25 women suffering from post-radiotherapy induced itching were treated at the University of Vienna’s Department of Radiotherapy and Radiobiology using individualised homeopathic medicines. After assessment (1-27 days after beginning the treatment) it was found that homeopathic treatment had been successful in 21 of the women enrolled in the study.

German researchers exposed albino mice to sub-lethal doses of x-ray. Homeopathic Ginseng and Ruta graveolens were given to the mice before and after exposure. Their condition was evaluated at 24, 48, and 72 hours. When compared with mice given a placebo, the homeopathic mice had significantly less chromosomal and cellular damage.

Volunteering in Swaziland, using Homeopathy

http://www.interhomeopathy.org/volunteering-in-swaziland-and-botswana

My father had passed away and I had turned 50. It was time to stretch my horizons and step out of my comfort zone. I had been working full time as a Homeopath in lovely Salmon Arm, British Columbia, but what I felt I needed was a new challenge. I googled ‘homeopathy volunteer work overseas’ and there were the opportunities – just as easy as that! I was off to Africa.

My first volunteer stint was with The Swaziland Homeopathy Project.  Barbara Braun - who runs the Project - and Ruth, the volunteer homeopath, welcomed me with open arms and I embraced Swaziland. What an amazing country! Here are some excerpts from my letters home:

I have now been in Swaziland for over a week and I love it. It is a wonderful country, amazing scenery and fabulous people. It is a kingdom, still ruled by a king who has 13 wives and is looking for another one later this year! It is winter here (July) and the vegetation is actually quite lush with almost tropical-looking plants and beautiful flowers.

Every day, except Sunday I have been driving with Ruth to outreach clinics in the bush - often a 2 hour drive away. We set up our tables and chairs in some old barn or shed and the people pour in to see us, often about 40 of them, waiting patiently for their turn.

It is exhausting - try taking 20 new cases in a day! But it is rewarding, as the people are so grateful. Often while they are waiting, just sitting in the shade, they will all start singing; it really touches your heart. Their stories are so sad and often they cry; most have lost many family members to Aids and most are really hungry and have lots of kids to support.

At the end of the day, Ruth and I are tired out and when we get back to our basic house, with little furniture and no heating, all we want to do is make supper and fall asleep.

The Swaziland Homeopathic Project also operates a clinic based in a school for children who have lost their parents to Aids. Many of the children live in ‘child-headed households,’ where about 10 kids live in a house and the older kids look after the younger ones - there are no adults alive left to look after them. HIV and Aids are devastating this country and, obviously, hitting the poor and underprivileged first.

While I was there, the Swaziland Homeopathic Project was also involved in a research study on the use of homeopathy in the Mbambe hospital. The hospital was very run down and dirty; patients were in the corridors - on beds and below them! (There were even some prisoners wandering around in shackles on one of the days we were there.) We were given an office to work out of and were prescribing for patients with HIV and TB. If you would like to know the results of this research project, please contact Barbara at bjb@africaonline.co.sz

As of this year, Barbara is offering a two-week volunteering opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students seeking continuing professional development (CPD) in the field of Homeopathy. Practicing homeopaths looking to obtain knowledge of treating patients in indigenous rural communities are also welcome. Participants have a unique chance to experience African culture, visit historical sites, and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Swaziland. Participants gain practical clinical experience - approximately 50 cases - and learn about the treatment of a wide range of chronic diseases.

For the second part of my stay, I travelled from Swaziland to Johannesburg and then flew over the Kalahari Desert to… the middle of nowhere; we landed in Maun, Botswana. Maun is a cattle town with a sandy, dusty main street filled with people, wild donkeys, cattle, cars, and goats. People dressed in suits with cell phones mingle with the local women who are dressed in long Victorian dresses (really!) carrying material in the shape of horns. They are Harare tribeswomen and the horns represent the cattle they own. The town is overwhelming in its chaos - and very different from Swaziland. The weather is warm, around 26 degrees Celsius during the day and then very cold at night. Maun is in northern Botswana and has one of the highest rates of HIV and Aids in the world. Over 25% of people are infected with the virus.

The Maun Homeopathic Project operates a clinic in Maun and provides free treatment to those who are HIV positive and patients with TB. The project was set up in 2002 by Hilary Fairclough, a homeopath based in the UK.  It is a charity registered in the UK and working in partnership with the local NGO’s - namely, Women against Rape, Bana Ba Letsatsi (‘Sunshine Children’), and the Lutheran Church.

Both the Maun project and the project in Swaziland use the ‘triad method’ of prescribing homeopathically. It is an excellent method of dealing with the complex pathology and disease states that characterize many of the patients seen, most of whom are HIV positive and often also have TB.  The triad protocol is as follows:

- One remedy for the acute layer
- One remedy for the constitutional/fundamental layer
- One remedy for the miasmatic layer (a nosode)

For each layer and remedy, the totality of characteristic symptoms is the most important aspect of selection. Nothing is routine and every selection is individualized. Normally, the prescription will consist of taking each remedy once a week for 4 weeks, after which the client waits a week, and then comes back for a follow-up consultation. As well as the clinic in Maun, outreach clinics are also serviced.

Here is more from my letters:

I love the volunteer work in Maun. Last week we drove out into the bush and passed a million wild donkeys and tons of cattle that just wander all over the road. After hours of driving on flat, sandy tracks we reached a small village and there was a crowd of people sitting in the shade under trees, waiting patiently for us. We set up in the local church and outside it. There were four of us, two homeopaths and two homeopathic students (who also acted as interpreters when necessary). We consulted with around 40 clients, ranging from the elderly to small children.

We took sandwiches as there is nowhere to eat in the villages and nowhere to stop for a cold drink. You have to be very self-sufficient - and have a strong bladder, because there is no place to go to the bathroom either!

The Maun Project also offers home visits to its clients. These visits are for people too sick to travel into the clinic - so you can imagine how poorly they are… I would drive out with my interpreter, along some sandy bush track to a ‘shed’ with one room, to find a client lying on a mattress with old blankets on top, and they would tell me how they were feeling and I would then prescribe for them. It was hard to see people suffering so much. Anyway, we do what we can and hope for the best. Hilary works amazingly hard to keep the Project running and her results are outstanding.

The Maun Project also trains local people to become homeopaths. Check out their website for more details:  www.homeopathybotswana.com. If you are interested in volunteering here, please go to the ‘Get involved’ section.

Volunteering in Africa was exciting, empowering and challenging. It opened doors for me and expanded my homeopathic knowledge and clinical experience. If you’ve come to feel comfortable where you are at, perhaps it is time for a change… - just open up Google!  Or please donate - both Projects need funds to carry on their good work.

High levels of satisfaction with homeopathy reported in pediatric oncology in Germany

High levels of satisfaction with homeopathy reported in pediatric oncology in Germany

In a recently published article in the open access journal 'Evidence Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine' researchers compared the responses of homeopathy users (HUs) and users of other forms of CAM (NHUs) in pediatric oncology (PO) in Germany. The study concludes that homeopathy is the most frequently used CAM treatment in PO in Germany. HUs sustain treatment and therapies considerably longer than NHUs. Most families who had used homeopathy before their child was diagnosed with cancer also used homeopathy for the treatment of their child's cancer. Compared to other CAM treatments, patient satisfaction with homeopathy appears to be very high. The study also shows that non-medical practitioners played a considerably greater role as source of information than did treating physicians.

Hahnemann 1755-1843 (founder of Homeopathy) was an Aries - call an Aries Homeopath to take on your personal health problem

From Evernote:

Hahnemann was an Aries - call an Aries Homeopath to take on your personal health problem

Aries
March 21 - April 19

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and that's pretty much how those born under this sign see themselves: first. Aries are the leaders of the pack, first in line to get things going. Whether or not everything gets done is another question altogether, for an Aries prefers to initiate rather than to complete. Do you have a project needing a kick-start? Call an Aries, by all means. The leadership displayed by Aries is most impressive, so don't be surprised if they can rally the troops against seemingly insurmountable odds -- they have that kind of personal magnetism. An Aries won't shy away from new ground, either. Those born under this sign are often called the pioneers of the zodiac, and it's their fearless trek into the unknown that often wins the day. Aries is a bundle of energy and dynamism, kind of like a Pied Piper, leading people along with its charm and charisma. The dawning of a new day -- and all of its possibilities -- is pure bliss to an Aries.

The symbol of Aries is the Ram, and that's both good and bad news. Impulsive Aries might be tempted to ram their ideas down everyone's throats without even bothering to ask if they want to know. It's these times when you may wish Aries' symbol were a more subdued creature, more lamb than ram perhaps. You're not likely to convince the Ram to soften up; these folks are blunt and to the point. Along with those qualities comes the sheer force of the Aries nature, a force that can actually accomplish a great deal. Much of Aries' drive to compete and to win comes from its Cardinal Quality. Cardinal Signs love to get things going, and Aries exemplifies this even better than Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.

Schuessler's Tissue Salts.

It was in 1873 that Dr. Schuessler published his first article about the biochemic form of medicine. He identified a basic understanding about this medical view. It is based on three main principles.

The human body contains twelve vital inorganic elements which are responsible for maintenance of normal cell function.
When from some cause, one or more of these elements become deficient the normal cell function or metabolism is disturbed and a condition arises known as disease.By supplying to the system the lacking elements in the form of Schuessler Biochemic Remedies normal cell function and health can be restored.

Biochemistry is derived from Greek and means Bio (Life) and chemistry. Dr Schuessler meant his system was the chemistry of life. His view was that the body needed particular inorganic compounds that were normally present in the body to be in their proper amounts. When the body became diseased, the restoration of the Biochemic salts would heal the diseased condition.

These inorganic cell salts are the building blocks of all organic matter in the body and Dr. Schuessler set out to identify them and use them as tissue restorers. He set out to identify the diseases associated with the mineral deficiencies. In his findings it may be necessary to treat a single expression of disease with more than one tissue salt or Biochemic remedy.

In order for the body to assimilate these cell salts they needed to be triturated so they were easily absorbed by the body. In Schuessler’s treatise he did not specify the exact process but most cell salts are available in the 6X potency. This is where the overlap into homeopathic materia medica happened. Schuessler did not perform provings on his preparations. So most of the information of the homeopathic remedies that are of his original cell salts are from observation and anecdotal evidence.

The twelve Biochemic Cell Salts and some of their main indications are:

Calcarea Flourica - This works with connective tissues and albumen making elastic fibre. It is the main constituent in tooth enamel and the elastic fiber of all muscular tissue and connective tissue. It is good for conditions of blood vessels, hemorrhoids, varicose veins and hardened glands. The symptoms of this remedy are worse in damp weather and relieved by rubbing.

Calcarea Phosphorica - It is a constituent of the bones, teeth, connective tissue, blood corpuscles and gastric juice. It helps give solidity to bones and teeth. This is a valuable childhood remedy as it has much to do with development of the body. It is useful in all bone diseases and diseases of the teeth. Dengue fever: Homeopathy did wonders during epidemics

Monday, September 26, 2011

The other day a nine-year old girl fainted just because one of her classmates scared her by saying that a dengue mosquito was sitting on the back of her ear. In another incident a boy rammed into a motorbike when his elder brother ran after him saying: “I have a dengue mosquito in my hand, it will bite you!” A so-called awareness campaign has aggravated the panic. It’s a huge blow to our confidence that we have failed to handle the dengue epidemic properly.

The medical scientists know that the real cause of the dengue fever is not the virus itself but it is in fact the weakness of the immune system of a person that lead him to fall prey to it. A weak immune system makes circumstances conducive to the successful attack of the virus. The immunologists have observed that only a small percentage of a population is vulnerable to the virus. They give the argument that why not all the members of a family living in the same house and sharing the same environment catch the dengue fever.

It’s a very interesting scientific fact that the dengue mosquitoes carrying the virus bite everyday thousands of people but majority of them remain unaffected as their immune system protects them successfully.

The homeopathic system of medicine has a wonderful record of providing protection against the infectious diseases including dengue fever during the last 200 years. Only a few examples, taken from the history of medicine, are given here to illustrate the efficacy of the homeopathic preventive treatment.

In an epidemic of Typhus in Leipzig (1813), Dr. Hahnemann treated 180 cases of Typhus, losing only two patients. Mortality rate for conventional treatment was over 30%. In 1830’s during the cholera epidemics in Europe, the homeopathic doctors successfully treated 80% of their patients. During the cholera epidemic of 1849 in Cincinnati, with survival rate between 40-52%, those treated by homeopathy had a 97% survival rate. Homeopathy has also proven itself invaluable in preventing illness.

The worldwide influenza epidemic of 1918 killed 22 million people and homeopaths cured an amazing 98% of their patients! During the cholera and typhus epidemics in Europe from 1860’s to early 1900’s, people using homeopathy had survival rate of 50% or greater than those treated by conventional medicines.

In the smallpox epidemic of 1902 in Iowa, the homeopathic preventive remedy was given to 2,806 patients successfully. In the 1957 polio epidemic in Buenos Aires, a homeopathic remedy Lathyrus Sativus was given to thousands of people. Not even a single case of polio was reported in these individuals. In a 1974 epidemic of meningococcal meningitis in Brazil, 18,640 children were given a homeopathic remedy for prevention. Only 4 cases of meningitis occurred in these children.

The author has been working on the dengue fever for the last five years and successfully treated about 30 patients. Some of these patients had a very low platelet count. A plastic surgeon had a platelet count fallen to 51, which rose to 150 within two days of the treatment.

Immunology and Homeopathy began together in 1796 when Edward Jenner, father of modern immunology, gave his first small pox vaccination and German physician Samuel Hahnemann discovered homeopathy. A vaccine is a biological preparation that improves immunity to a particular disease. It typically contains a small amount of an agent that resembles a microorganism.

Hahnemann unlike his cotemporary Jenner did not limit the scope of his great discovery to the preparation of certain vaccines only. He went further and started experimenting vaccines on himself. He would select a diluted vaccine and take its repeated doses and then record the symptoms. Slowly and gradually his family, friends and students also joined him in these experiments. Through great sacrifices the hidden properties of the diluted medicinal substances were discovered and recorded and used clinically with miraculous results.

The writer has also given the preventive treatment to thousands of persons and never ever anyone of these got the dengue fever. The homeopathic vaccine immunizes the body against the dengue virus. My humble request to the society is to consider steps to boost the immunity of the body also along with procuring the fumigation and the platelet kits.

Dr. Oz supports Homeopathy

You've got to try it. If it works for you, keep doing it and if doesn't work don't waste your money. But I know in our family, my wife uses homeopathic therapies for our kids and they seem to benefit from it. So since these are tiny doses of products that don't seem to have any down side, I endorse it," said Dr. Oz.
